Eligibility Requirements
In order to receive a grant, the applicant needs to be a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization based in the United States. Organizations advancing youth education (K-12) and faith-based goals are of particular interest to the foundation and will be given priority.
While there are exceptions, our foundation's main geographic areas of interest are Florida, New Jersey, and Missouri.
As of September 30, 2024, the foundation's assets were over $7,000,000. The average grant award range is $10,000 - $15,000

Two grant cycles each year
The Brotherton Foundation makes distributions twice each year: April and October. The foundation is open to receiving grant proposals for a few months leading up to each grant decision date. Interested non-profits should reach out to their contact at the Brotherton Foundation for more information about the application timeline and requirements.
